Gerry McCullochis a cinematographer, photographer and visual artist from Glasgow based in London. He is interested in the narrative implications of everyday sensory perception and is regularly to be found oscillating between artistic bouts of inarticulate competence and articulate incompetence. Many of Gerry’s artworks adorn the bathroom doors of his most indulgent friends and admirers.
In 2006, he launched the MA in Filmmaking at Goldsmiths, University of London where he convenes the Cinematography pathway. He has undertaken photo and cine work around the world and has collaborated with characters as diverse as Helena Bonham Carter and Fidel Castro.
Why our Creative Director, Melanie Lalande selected Gerry's work: "What an intense body of work… just the scale and scoop of the project, I would love to see this exhibition live!"
